Don and Sandy Hartman have owned and operated Hartman Home Inspections for eleven years. Prior to that, they worked together in their general contracting business. They have purchased and remodeled several homes in the Seattle area, including their own home in West Seattle.

Don is a licensed home inspector, licensed pest inspector, and licensed general contractor. For over twenty years he has been involved in home building and remodeling. He is especially experienced in residential remodels and renovations. His approach as a home inspector is to be thorough but non-alarming. He enjoys helping first-time home buyers who are sometimes overwhelmed by the process and appreciate his expertise and helpfulness. 

Sandy's past experience has been in marketing and public relations. She was recently part of a legislative advisory group that worked with Washington State legislators to draft licensing requirements for home inspectors. Her responsibilities at Hartman Home Inspections include managing the daily operations of the business. She is a real voice on the line and enjoys interacting with clients and real estate agents.
